The future stadium, with a total floor area of 84,300 square meters, will have 32,000 seats, fully covered stands, and purple seats—a color emblematic of Timișoara soccer and of the white-and-purple supporters of Politehnica Timișoara. The arena will be certified to UEFA Category 4 standards, which will allow it to host Timișoara’s home games as well as European and international competitions.

The new stadium will be built by the consortium Concelex (lead contractor) – Construcții Erbașu – Terragaz Construct, with the investment funded by the Timiș County Council and the Ministry of Development, Public Works, and Administration, through the National Investment Company (CNI).
