The new hospital will serve the western part of the country and will have a floor area of more than 65,000 square meters, a height of S+P+P+4E+Et. T., 152 parking spaces and will be built according to the nZEB+ standard (nearly zero energy buildings).

The medical unit will have 250 beds for day hospitalization, outpatient, an area for diagnostic services (laboratory tests, imaging, endoscopy, functional explorations), operating theatre, intensive care unit, radiotherapy laboratory, nuclear medicine laboratory, center for bone marrow transplantation and stem cell apheresis.

There will also be dedicated spaces for research and educational activities, as well as special areas for relatives.

The entire construction will be carried out in partnership with Concelex, Terragaz and Hellimed.

The project is financed by PNRR funds, with the Ministry of Health as the coordinating authority for reforms and investments, and the Ministry of Development, Public Works and Administration, through the National Investment Company, as the implementing structure.

The final beneficiary of the project is the Timis County Public Health Directorate
